Joe Thomas is a seven-time Grammy Award-nominated American R&B singer and record producer.
His 1997 platinum breakthrough album “All That I Am” reached #13 on the Billboard 200 album charts and #4 on the R&B charts. The hit singles from this album included the Top 5 R&B/Top 20 pop hit "All the Things Your Man Won't Do" and the Top 5 R&B/Top 40 pop hit "Don't Wanna Be a Player.”
Joe’s next album, “My Name Is Joe” [2000] became his most successful to date, reaching the top of the R&B album charts and #2 on the Billboard 200, and eventually selling more than three million copies. It featured the Top 5 R&B (#2) and pop (#4) hit lead single "I Wanna Know,” which also reached the top 40 in the UK and Australia. The single "Stutter" was #1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B/Hip-Hop Tracks chart, and part of the Top 10 in the UK and top 20 in Australia.
Joe’s album “Better Days” was released in 2001, reaching #32 on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the R&B chart. It featured two singles, "Let’s Stay Home Tonight", which reached #18 on the US R&B chart, and "What If A Woman.”
Joe's 2008 release of his first independent cd "JOE THOMAS, NEW MAN" Debuted Top 10, # 1 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums Chart and # 3 on Billboard's R&B/HipHop Albums Chart.
In July of 2009, Joe released his latest album “Signature” on 563 Entertainment/Kedar Entertainment Group. “Signature” debuted at # 7 on
Billboard Top Albums Chart, and reached # 1 on Billboard Top Independent Albums Charts, # 2 on Billboard Top R&B Albums Chart and # 11 on Billboard Digital chart.
“Signature” was voted the #1 R&B Album of the Year on iTunes in 2009, and the new single “Worst Case Scenario” is the #1 most added song on Urban Adult radio, 2010.
Centric (BET’s sister channel) featured Joe in an hour-long Valentines Day special, “Joe Live and In Love,” scheduled to air February 12th, 13th and 14th,2010.
