DJ Enuff was raised in the lower east side but
spent most of his adolescence in Flatbush, Brooklyn. He attended
Kingsborough Community College and majored in Communications and
Broadcasting. Enuff got his start filling in for the legendary DJ Red
Alert on 98.7 KISS FM. He quickly became Red Alert’s permanent
substitute and before long he would advance to his own slot Mondays and
Wednesdays 10pm – Midnight, and this was just the beginning. This is
the life of someone who was destined to be a DJ.
Audiences loved his DJ skills and clubs everywhere were
looking to book DJ Enuff. Because of the high demand, Enuff decided to
return to deejaying local parties. This seems to have been a leap of
fate for DJ Enuff because he caught the attention of the late legend
Notorious BIG and suddenly became his road DJ.
On the road with the Notorious BIG was a memorable experience
for DJ Enuff. He reminisces about the good times often. One fond memory
he can recall while on the set at these concerts was how the whole
crowd would join together and sing his songs in perfect harmony. “It’s
such an amazing feeling,” says Enuff.
After some time passed, the programming director at WQHT HOT
97.1 FM NY offered him a spot on the morning show. He later made the
transition to the commercial free rush hour which airs Monday through
Thursday 5pm – 6pm and Fridays the extended rush hour from 5pm – 7pm.
Since this evolution, Enuff has consistently held the 1 DJ spot of
afternoon radio.
