The multi‐platinum R&B group NEXT has been entertaining music fans with their soulful voices and energetic live performances for over 15 years. Originally from Minnesota, NEXT was first discovered by KayGee of Naughty By Nature and signed to Arista by the legendary Clive Davis and the rest, as they say, is history.

Their debut album “Rated NEXT” produced the singles “Butta Love” and “I Still Love You”, along with, the über‐hit “Too Close” which became Billboard’s #1 single of that year and made NEXT a household name. In fact, “Too Close” remains #24 on Billboard’s “Hot 100 All Time Top Songs” and #4 on the magazine’s “Sexiest Songs of All Time.” The group’s sophomore album “Welcome II NEXTasy” was equally successful with its first single “Wifey” topping the R&B singles charts. After the run of their second album, NEXT joined Clive Davis at his newly launched J Records label releasing their third album “The NEXT Episode” and producing songs for multiple movie soundtracks.

In 2008, NEXT incorporated De, a former member of the R&B group A Few Good Men, into their live performances as they toured internationally supporting their albums.

This addition brought a fresh, new chemistry to NEXT and although former member RL has since departed the group to pursue solo ambitions, founding group members T‐Low and Tweet, along with De, haven’t missed a beat. In fact, the change has provided the group an ideal opportunity to rebuild and rebrand its look and sound.

NEXT’s latest project, “The NEXT Chapter”, will feature the same melodic and smooth R&B vocals that their dedicated fans have come to expect, while incorporating dance, dub step, and retrotech beats that today’s new music lovers crave. With eight Billboard Music Awards, four ASCAP Awards, a pair of nominations for American Music Awards and a Soul Train Award to their credit, along with millions of record sales, NEXT has proven that they have mastered the formula for success.
